about

“I Lov’d You A Minute” is a love affair with a time and place, that was so intense, you’re not sure whether it really happened.

Recorded in Nicaragua in July and August of 2015, "I Lov'd You A Minute" captures the collaborative spirit of making music with people from different backgrounds and interests. The aim was to be influenced by a foreign country never visited and indeed, Nicaragua finds it's way into all of these songs. Listen closely and you'll hear dogs barking across the countryside, police officers blowing whistles on their midnight beat, mortar rounds exploding during holiday celebrations, delivery trucks weaving their way through the neighborhood, old women singing church hymns, and thousands of birds above Granada's main square.

Featuring sit-ins from some of Nicaragua's best musicians and many of Earthy Babes' musical heroes, "I Lov'd You A Minute" plays back like a late night jam session with friends.
